This was a hard book to read.
The whole dragon shifters was a good idea but when things started happening it was just so convenient!... all the time.
And Quinn and Sara's love story... I couldn't care less if they stayed together or not, and if they've died, that would've been OK too.
I still have a million questions, why do the Pyr start getting old when they conceive?, are there only male Pyrs?, is the Wyvern the only female?, do they have only one mate for life?, if so how do they find her?, the ...more

I enjoyed this book, but would only give it 3.5*, because while I loved the world and storyline, I didn't feel as emotionally invested in the hero/heroine's relationship as I would have wanted.. It seemed too rushed and a little forced to me.. Everything happense in less than a week, the heroine doesn't blink when confronted with the existence of shapeshifting dragons and the knowledge that she's destined to bear a child that will save the world..
