4.5 stars. I have no idea why I waited so long to start this series, because this book was awesome! Merit is a fantastic heroine, the love triangle isn't annoying, and the secondary characters are really fun. I have had Chicagoland Vampires recommended to me too many times, I just didn't feel the love to pick it up till now. When I saw Missie was hosting a Some Girls Bite read-along with Tina, Rummanah and Jenny I though I have the book, I haven't had a chance to do a read-along before so lets do this!

It was awesome. Reading four chapters a week and making turtle friends along the way, but I think most of the bloggers had already finished it. I am going off track with my thoughts about the read-along
