Sacrifice picks up shortly after book #1, Dark Time. We continue to follow Maliha on her journey to find all the shards scattered around the world and balance the scales. No longer Ageless, freed from the demon, Rabishu, Maliha's mission is to balance out the lives she's taken in the past with the lives she saved since finding that loophole.

It is a straight forward Dark Urban Fantasy. I like all the characters and her evil characters are truly evil. I don't want to give any spoilers, but darn it! Chapter 31 was very upsetting . Oh, and Lucious is luscious . Can't wait to read what happens next to Maliah and how much closer she comes to saving her soul
