Quite a sexy effort for a YA novel. Wearing my mum hat, I was actually quite surprised how far this went... but wearing my perv hat I really didn't care. In fact, I really wanted Rose and Dimitri to go that little bit further, but I guess I might have to keep reading the series to find out if that happens.

This is barely-making-it 4 star read. This book kept me fairly interested throughout the entire book. I just wasn't sure how I felt about some of the things going on in it.
I loved Rose as a person, however she was also extremely shallow and conniving all at the same time. I think there was too much of the high shool teen drama going on in the book for it to really feel like something that could have been great.

Another good vamp book series - but definitely laking something to get it to the twilight or house of night epic level. A little bit slow at times - but possibly one of the best hidden 'bad guys' I've ever read. I generally can guess who the bad guy is going to be- however loved that it wasn't obvious with this one. Loved Rose's character.
