This book was a mess. Ohhh where to start. First off lets talk about the good. The main character Nyx was likeable enough. Her back story was interesting .I liked the whole drow thing. The secondary character of Olivia was very interesting and cute.( I loved the T shirt thing.)
Now the bad.The rest of the secondary characters were under developed . I felt like there were huge chunks of this book left sitting on the cutting room floor. The entire plot was convoluted and forced. It seemed like she

I like it. :) Off to read the next one. :)

Nyx is a PI by day and a Tracker by night... Same thing really. She works 24hrs... I wonder if she ever sleeps. She's a PI that deals with the paranorm cases. At night, she's a tracker that deals with the paranorm crimes. So... It seems like the same type of job right?

Nix (a Drow) is a kick-ass supernatural "cop", a Tracker who is up against demons. T is an mysterious character that I hope to see in future novels. Riodan is sexy...I would like to see him matched with someone like Nix. Olivia's T-shirt sayings provide a nice bit of comic relief. I love this book and will be reading it again and again. ...more

At first I was taken in by the great story telling and the amazing world building. It was all done so well and drew me in. But then as I got to know Nyx, we just wern't compatable. The sublte name brand dropping started to get old. The lack of conviction in her actions vs thoughts bothered me. Then there was the whole cliffhanger unresolved issues. I really wish authors would go back to the old school of begining - climax- ending and not drop off before the ending.

While well written I personall
