It took me 2 months to read this book, and I finally just skimmed about 100 pages, and then read the last 25.
This may be a case of "it's not you, it's me" as this isn't the type of book that I usually go for, though I did enjoy The Winter Sea when I read it. ...more

While I was very dubious at first, it didn't take long to get into the characters and the book. I love the dual story lines in past and present. Torn between three and four stars, I'm going with four because I rather enjoyed this book and I loved the narrator.
