Too much. Too much pages, too much over the top emotional drama. Too much back and forth (and back and forth…).
But the sex was good.
Which beg the question- YA? Really?

Going into A COURT OF SILVER FLAMES I can't really say I had any high expectations because I don't like Nesta. I was not excited for this book on the same level that I was for previous SJM books. Now having finished the book I can say that I was pleasantly surprised.

Wow. Nesta’s journey is heart-wrenching. This is a hard one. I was crying with her because I have been there. I could relate to her feelings about herself so much. Hating being inside my head….the self-recrimination….keeping others at a distance….not feeling worth anyone’s love…..

It is a long, hard journey for her and Cassian. But so worth it. The development of her character is so well done. It is a great example of how complicated family can be. And how important friends can be.
