I’m DNFing at 80%
I can’t connect with the female lead at all. She’s all tough physically but emotionally she’s a volatile mess. Plus the YAness of the story is offputing. The guy kissed her and she practically fell down from shock and inability to deal. Like.. who acts like that? Why is it such a crazy thing for her to be hit on or kissed? She practically falls down from embarrassment and the blushing! How I hate the blushing!

Just no. The magic and training isn’t going to make up for the weak

Wow... had to speed read a few things because she was seriously driving me insane. It's totally teenage book with all the teenage drama and gloom and doom feels. Not sure if I will read the next book. I still might... not sure. ...more
