Nice pick-up from previous book (Hunter of Shadows). Glad to see Jacques (Jack) get his HEA. I liked reading more about Charlotte, Nica, Max, Silas. Very glad there are more books (just in e format only) since nothing was wrapped in this one. In fact, something big happens to a major character and the reader is left in limbo as to the outcome. This has been an excellent series so far with each book being as good as the last. I am one that loved Charlotte and Max, but enjoyed reading about other ...more
