Book two picks up after Nell has finished Spook School. I enjoyed this one much more than the first one. I read this one rather than listen to the audio and I think that helped, also the plot was pretty much totally removed from the cult/church stuff of the first one. There's still a lot of the Nell's meandering that I thought slowed the pace but I can handle that easier when I'm reading than when I'm listening.
