I have to admit, I was of two mind before opening this book. I've been a big fan of Anne Bishop for years. Her Black Jewels trilogy is on my all-time favorites lists. 5+ STARS!! This book was an excellent read. I really this series! I enjoyed reading about the interactions between the Others and the humans. I specially LOVED Aggie, the inquisitive and kind member of the Crowgard family, who was my favorite character in the whole book.

While I was sad that there won't be anymore focus on Meg and Simon and their journey I was overjoyed when I learned that there would be more books set in this interesting world. While movin ...more
