I think the second part was stronger than the first. Action packed and full of twists! I can't wait to see where we go from here.

6.5 Death Stars!!!!
I did not expect book two to be this epic. After reading Poison Princess, I really wanted Evie to have some alone time with Death. Not that I'm implying for her to cheat on Jack, just to figure out why Death was so desperate to kill her. I still like Jack though, who can resist that Cajun accent. I swear even in this book, it will make your toes curl.
Here's an example:

Damn, just DAMN

I'm definitely, TEAM DEATH but either way Iwant them both to myself HAHAHAHA.

Endless Knight picks up right where Poison Princess leaves off...almost like it's part of one giant book that they cut in half at the end of a climactic chapter.
This second installment in The Arcana Chronicles is excellent...maybe even better than the first book. Endless Knight delves deeper into the world After the Flash and introduces the reader to more Arcana Cards ready to do battle.
I wonder if I liked Endless Knight better because ...more

Man I love this series! So great! Only complaints were the lack of doan's and filles, and bébés in the second half of the book.
And while it was great to get to know Death, and that was certainly an interesting plot twist I felt like the book really slowed down and I regretted spending so much time in the same place. I agree with others that some interesting changes are coming up for Jack...
Can't wait to see what happens with that!
