4 stars – Paranormal/Vampire Romance
This book is touted as 'a return to the original Black Dagger Brotherhood', and I do believe that it lives up to this lofty ideal. I think most readers loved the BDB when they first emerged, and somewhere along the way, as most long series do, the direction and focus of the story changes (as do the characters). This is just the nature of things. And not at all to say that I was in any way disappointed in the latest BDB series.
