I loved Drake's Dark Days series and I was thrilled when I learned she was starting a new series set in the same world. And, as much as I loved seeing Mira and Danaus, as well as Stefan, from a different POV than the original series, I was frustrated by the "heroine", Erin. She has more than one TSTL moment. Granted, those moments did a good job of progressing the story in the direction the author wanted to take the two characters, but damn, the girl was difficult to like at times.
