This was just what I wanted to read. A light, paranormal mystery with a side of romance thrown in! See, Lucy is a Valentine and the Valentines have this ability/gift to see auras and match people together. Good start to a new mystery series. Lucy Valentine lost her family's gift of matchmaking, but now she can find lost objects. When a lost ring leads her to a dead body, she enlists the help of PI, Sean.

What I enjoyed:
* Lucy gets herself into some crazy situations but doesn't come across as TSTL
* There are great supporting characters in her best friends, her grandmother, pets and chauffeur
* Looking forward to learning more about Sean

Once I got into it, I really liked this book. The writing is pretty good and the twists were nice and totally unexpected. Like I said, it took a while, maybe 100 pages or so, for me to really get into the book, but then I couldn't put it down. I look forward to reading the next one! ...more
