This was fun read I really enjoyed the characters. It was a riot reading about all the trouble Violet got into. This was a good start to the series and I plan to continue on to book 2.

An entertaining paranormal mystery with a quirky cast of characters. Despite a slow start, the story picked up and kept me interested for most of the book. I enjoyed Violet's conversations with herself and the blend of humor, mystery and romance throughout the story. It kind of had a Stephanie Plum vibe to me. The ending is a cliffhanger so I will continue with the series and look forward to finding out what happens in the next book. ...more
