It isn’t that I am not fond of Oscar but if more than half of the book is going to be about rescuing a witch’s familiar, then I’m going to have to try harder to remain interested in it. And, I hadn’t expected to have to do that, given that I had picked up a cozy mystery. But that’s exactly what happened: the main mystery was sidelined while our protagonist tried every avenue as she looked for her potbellied pig.

Loved it! I just can't get enough of Lily and her group of friends. I am seriously thinking about what fun a pet pig might be, again. I think I will stick with my turtle, but Lily's devotion to Oscar is inspiring.

Another solid entry in the Witchcraft Mystery series. I always love revisiting Lily's world. All the supporting character are so well-written and lovable. And Ms. Blackwell's descriptions of vintage clothing are consistently drool-worthy.

Lily was once a lone witch who now has friends who have got her back; at least when she lets them. The mystery in this one was decent, what I enjoyed more was the interactions between Lily and her eclectic group of friends. I also really like Lily's refusal to buy a cell phone.
I liked the development with Oscar, what will he decide to do? I'm also curious to know what kind of sacrifice Lily had to make, will this be a major plot line of book 7? Go Lily's confidence!
