That was much better than other paranormal romances I've read. The woman was very strong and intelligent. She wasn't a damsel in distress that needed rescuing, although she was ridiculously tolerant of the paternalistic attitude of the police chief in the beginning who spent what was on the audiobook several minutes telling her he was worried for her and her safety and didn't want her to be home alone when one famous politician had been murdered and there was absolutely no reason to think she or ...more

No surprises here, typical Graham and Krewe book. But I find them entertaining and they make excellent audio books.
