What would you a call a woman that, at 4am and all by herself, goes to the house where a dead body was found?

TOO STUPID TO LIVE

This happened at the beginning of the book so I'll take it as clue of how she'll act during the rest of the story.

Both Katie and David are both from families that originated in the Florida Keys. The villian is also descended from someone who settled there years ago.

In the opening of you get quite a few historical facts about the Keys which I thought was awesome, before you the know the significance of the history to the story.
