I admit I was a bit leery of the genie in a bottle storyline, but it started off well, although a bit heart-breaking. But then there was the "misunderstanding" that lasted way too long and although it had help beyond the two MCs, it should have been cleared up sooner. There is also insta-love, but at least there is a wish to blame for that.

I could forgive the first misunderstanding, but not the second (view spoiler) ...more

It's so hard to really review K.A's books sometimes. I love her so much, but there are times when I am frustrated beyond belief. She has the uncanny ability to make me fall in love with characters then have them do something to annoy me. At the same time the thing is annoying me and I'm asking myself why is this happening, the character will turn around and ask themselves the same or something similar.
