Rarely do I stop reading a book mid read. I figure it's a marriage. Sometimes it's bad but you keep going, hoping it will get better. That plot hole will shrink. That heroine will grow a brain stem. Maybe the author will stop using those exclamation marks like they were fertilizer. This one, just no. I got to the scene in the restaurant and gave up. You have defeated me, book. Enjoy your horrible, badly written, victory.
