I understand now why people were rating this one lower than the rest. WAY too much going on even though it felt like NOTHING was going on, a ridiculous amount of repetition (say "affianced," ONE more time, Charley), and I felt beaten over the head with "I need to protect you more than ever, don't go off without me, Charley" from Reyes while wanting to beat IN Charley's head every time she jumped at the chance to go off by her own and put herself in danger.

With Sixth Grave on the Edge , finishing on a major cliffhanger - dedicated readers like myself held our breaths as we opened the cover of Seventh Grave and No Body to discover that for now all was not lost as Charley and Reyes will still there with us living on the pages. Seventh Grave and No Body has Charley and Reyes still engaged but unlike previous novels , it is now a big deal as Charley constantly uses the word "Affianced" when talking to others about Reyes. Seventh Grave is action packed

I was really excited to get back into Charley's world, and Seventh Grave and No Body fulfilled that task.
Charley has a lot on her plate. She has a fiance who doesn't want to leave her side for various reasons (I don't want to spoil anything), suicide notes are being left but no bodies are being found, bodies being stolen out of graves, all while being hunted by hell hounds.
The connection and chemistry is still there between Reyes and Charley, even though I feel like things are moving way faster ...more

A lot of running around in this book. It reads as if it was written by Charley herself. Ans speaking if Charley she went from quirky and weird in a endearing way to tiresome and a bit annoying.
I felt like the storyline was all over the place and there was a bit too much fluff for my taste.
I think I'm starting to get tired of this series, this book was very repetitive and failed to excite me but it was still a pleasant read since I'm a fan of the world and the characters. ...more

There was quite a bit going on in this installment. The 12 are causing issues, Charlie’s dad is MIA, and Charlie, herself, seems to be mad at Reyes all the time. Just another day in the life of Charlie Davidson! I do so love these books and can’t wait to dive into the next one!
