What ever happened to the good ole fashioned trilogy. Why must great stories be drug out and beaten? I really like Charley, I think in real life we would be friends. Then there are her friends and the situations she gets into. It is kind of like watching a Scooby Doo Cartoon as an adult. 5 minutes in you know how it is going to end, you just have to get through all the hilarious hi-jinks to get to that point. I'm not sure why it took me so long to pick up this third instalment, seeing as only a couple of pages in I remembered how much I loved the previous two books.
Charley is a private investigator and grim reaper and one of the most hilarious and funny heroines I've come across in my reading adventures. Everything she says just cracks me up.
