Here is the thing, if you love this series you can't not read this book.
People hate it because there are two love stories running neck and neck in this book (three if you count the love between the brothers) and only one of them gets an Happily Ever After.
Turns out, because there are two romances, I am okay with that. This is weird because I hate angst in romance and really get angry at cliffhangers and Happy for Nows, and not happys.

Not sure how to rate this book.
The story was ok. I felt sometimes like I felt on the early books, but that excitement was kinda gone when the main character died and stayed dead. Not all stories need a happy ending, and I understand Ward's POV, but I'd be lying if I said I loved. I feel more that Trez is alone than Selena dying I think. He deserved the woman he loved.
iAm's story on the other hand felt half forgotten. Can't ever remember his mate's name. Guess that says it all.

What did I think of this book?
Selena: "That's a total bitch move..."
Trez: "Straight one hundred. Serious."

I wanted to like this book more than I actually did. I have listed to this entire series via audible.com. This is the 13th in the series. Through the first 12 all the characters names were pronounced the same in each book. Along comes this one and suddenly Jim Frangione is pronouncing some character names totally differently. It was very distracting.
