This was the story of Vigholf and Rhona two minor characters from past books who fit right in with the rest of the zany cast. I really liked that a good third of this book was from others perspectives, we got touchings of life for all the characters in the previous four books, and lots of war happenings. I listened to this book partially on audio and was odd to go back and forth between how I pronounced the names in my head and how they are supposed to sound.

This is the 5th book in the series, and is a seemless continuation of book 4. Lots and lots of action. This book is also about Rhona & Vigholf. Plenty of laughs, and some sad parts. The kids really make you sit up and take notice of how powerful they are, and what they may become. After 4 books of Briec & Talaith bantering/fighting, it is getting annoying. I really look forward to a book about Eibear & Izzy, and concluding that.
