4.5 Stars. So, it looks like TJ Klune will just be getting all my money. I love discovering a new to me writer that is this good. My bank account has other feelings.

The comic pacing and imagination of this book amazes. There is such much fun and detail.

Reader doesn’t have separate voice for each character, just slightly—very slightly— different for men and women and has a weird inflection at the beginning of words, almost like “eh.”

How does the store stay in business if it only has one $2 customer a day? He’d have no income, no ability to buy new films, no way of paying rent and utilities. Oh, okay, that sort of makes sense but also makes no sense at all.

re-read 2022 - 4.5/5 stars - I admit to laughing so hard last night while listening to the audiobook that I almost peed my pants. EEEEEEEEP! Much love to TJ Klune. :)

Not the usual T.J. Klune fare, but I very much still enjoyed his sense of humor and laughed out loud.
