I loved all of the Books so far! Yes some may say not all are entertaining and exciting at the same level, but being in Lorens and Termariers (spelled wrong probably) company will always be an enjoyable read for me no mater how fast or slow paced their current adventure is.
I have to add tho that i am listening and not reading the books (on german ). For sure, the awesome voice and acting talents of the german narrator Detlef Bierstedt
add to the magic of the books as well!

Unfortunately this offering was rather disappointing compared to the previous instalments of the series. Temeraire and the other dragons were still great and entertaining, but the story was just a bit boring throughout most of the book. Instead of the action filled pages I was used to, Temeraire, Laurence and their little crew just travelled quite clueless through Australia without much happening. The last forty pages of the book finally livened up a bit, but before I knew it, it was finished.
