I liked this book far more than the previous installment. Maybe it was having Verity back as a narrator, but I am sure, mostly it was just being rid of all the 'Australian' bits.

I enjoyed the Aeslin mice far more too. I think Verity notices and includes them a lot more than Alex does - something he too touched upon - but he seemed to think its coz he's a god while his sisters are priestesses, and so, far more easy to approach - for the mice. Verity goes back home with a surprise (view spoiler) and then gets an invite to go on an all-star version of Dance or Die (which ends up taking its title too literally).

What I enjoyed:
* Fun to have Verity as the MC again and seeing her try and balance herself and Valerie is interesting
* We finally meet Antimony - can't wait until she gets a book

It took me a little while to get into this one. Some of it was that the Dance or Die format was so close to So You Think You Can Dance. I kept picturing Nigel, Mary & Cat when the judges/host were described. Other than that, it was another fun entry in this series.
