This story was just as amazing as the time I read it. I still love it!
This time though I went ahead and listened to the audio. And OMG is the audio amazing. It is so well done. It has a full cast and the guy who speaks for Ezra is pretty top notch! I definitely recommend it.

Illuminae is a book I put off reading for a long time. I had access to it before it was even released, yet I couldn't bring myself to read it.
Was there a reason why?
It could have been because everyone was in love with it and I was afraid that the hype about it was going to ruin it for me..or it could have been because I tend to put off books I really want to read. If I read them, then they are over....and what if I hate them?

I couldn't read this. The book is a series of communications and articles that did not present well on my kindle. Abstract fonts, small text boxes and random font sizes made it a real chore to get through. And the characters didn't draw me in enough to keep me going. Definitely check out a sample before purchasing.

Finished ILLUMINAE. Whoa. Can't praise this book enough. One of my fave books ever! 10 stars of awesome YA SF, every bit as good as Ender's Game. Edge of your seat action, amazing romance, the BEST AI I've read in forever! Great dialogue? Check. Believable characters? Check. Do I want to read the sequel? Double check!

What I enjoyed:
* The format is like documentary research - reading through multiple types of files to find the story and it worked really well.
* Kady is amazing. I can't imagine doing what she did at my age, much less as a teenager.
* AIDAN manages to have a personality as well
