Thankfully, I read a few reviews before adding this to my shelf to read. But this little gem in the synopsis almost made me take it right back off:

When I'm in a reading slump, I can be really capricious in finding my next book to read. I started this one and gave in two chapters in and decided to toss it to the side to find the next book to hold my attention. I wouldn't have even come back to it, but I kept seeing the good reviews and I knew that there had to be something there. wow. All those questions left unanswered...when is book two coming out? Im quite sure im not alone in waiting for this one as badly as angelfall two. so spoilers anyone? another year of long wait. (sighs) when will it ever end..:-)
Really enjoyed this new world and new characters. Good plot
