I struggled with this book for a while. Not that it wasn't good because in the end it was great but I just wasn't in the right frame of mind and I found there was so much happening that every time you turned around there was something else happening to Cassie. I love the developing relationship with Mircea (please forgive the spelling). Even the relationship with Pritkin that is taking a turn. I am feeling a bit guilty giving this only three stars because I gave the first four books of the series all solid 5 stars.
I did enjoy this book, just not as much as the first four. It was action packed as usual, but for some reason I just didn't enjoy it as much.( maybe not enough Mircea for me) In this book Cassie is still fighting for her life while trying to live her life at the same time. Trouble just seems to follow her everywhere and she is quick on her feet when it comes to her survival ...more

I waited and waited and waited all to be let down. I honestly thought there was going to be more to this. While there is plenty of action, there just isn't enough structure to the author's style. ...more
Hmmm....really 5 stars, but knocked one off cause I hate having to wait so long to find out what happens next!
