I enjoyed Talon and Sunshine's story. Talon is an emotionally tortured hero that has learned how to avoid his emotions in order to do his job as dark hunter- that is until he meets Sunshine. Talon is sexy, sensual, fabulous, and dangerous. He will stop at nothing to keep Sunshine safe, happy, and satisfied. Sunshine is eccentric, free spirit, independent, loyal, and stubborn. Loved it. Accidentally started this book thinking it was the second in the series and when I realized I was mistaken couldn't get myself to stop.

The story of Talon and Sunshine was good. I really like that Kenyon has intertwined her stories with gods. It makes it interesting on several levels. And by her way of introducing other characters whose stories will come in later novels, she really hooks the reader in. I'm pretty much dying to read Acheron's story but I've got a while to go before I get there. Still really enjoying the series and haven't hit a low point yet.
