3.5 stars. I keep waiting for this series to wow me. I prefer Jacquelyn Frank's Nightwalkers series or Rebecca Zanetti's Dark Protectors series.
I'm not a fan that each Dark Hunter must be saved in the same way. Also if all the Dark Hunters fall in love and regain their humanity, who will protect the humans from the daimons? Also, why must they all be arrogant jerks, I understand them being strong, lethal alpha loner warriors, but that doesn't mean they will be snarky, anti-authority sex machine ...more

This is another book that was hard for me to rate. I love the background story, the Dark Hunters, the Were Hunters, the Gods. But the love story of Talon and Sunshine/Nynia was kinda lame. It dragged on and on and they went back and fort with the I-love-you-s vs. I-don't-love-you-s that it started to get quite boring. Also, I intensely dislike characters - be it women or men - who tend to think with their nether regions instead of their upper brain when it's needed.
