I cannot give enough praise to this book or this series. Karina Halle has created the perfect combination of romance, suspense, horror and mystery in her Experiment in Terror series. On Demon Wings was definitely another crazy ride!
The predecessor, Lying Season (Book 4), left you hanging at the end of the book. I’m not talking just a little bit curious at what’s going to happen next… I’m talking complete jaw-dropping-hands-in-your-hair-OMG-I-can’t-freakin-believe-I finishe ...more

My least favourite of the series so far, but still a good read. It was scary in a different way to the previous novels, as Perry doesn't go out to find the unexplained, but it comes to find her. Perry has to go down a very dark and twisted path and it was hard to watch her loose everything and nearly everyone. Dex, well, he was absent for most of the book, which was a bit of a let down for the huge Dex-fan that I am. Ada finally showed what a wonderful sister she is. I always liked her, ...more
