I didn't think I was going to like this one that much at first. I'm a fan of UST in my romances and since Carys and Rune were already together at the start of the book there's really wasn't any sexual tension. But I should have trusted Lara Adrian because I've really enjoyed this entire series with all the directions it's taken. Once the secrets of Rune's past start to come out, and that past catches up with him things really take off. I didn't dislike Carys throughout the earlier books but she
