This series is one of my favorites and I loved this book. Mercy is on her own in a strange country, separated from Adam and the pack. Throw in the boogeyman of the Vampire world, a werewolf Alpha with a grudge against Bran, ghosts human & other, and a little wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey narrative and you end up with an excellent story. 4.5*s. The beginning was a little slow for me but once it picked up it was a great ending. I love these books for the character interactions so Mercy on her own wasn't doing it for me. I loved out the theme of it seemed to be about how powerful the people you underestimate sometimes are. Physically Mercy isn't a match for any of her enemies, but somehow comes out on top. I loved how gleeful some of the team Adam puts together are at Mercy wrecking someone else's plans for a change. There's anoth ...more
