I haven't read any of the other books in the Bayou Heat series, which might be why I didn't find this book as engrossing a read. It did feel like I dropped in to the middle of a story rather than the beginning.

really really short but with all the primal heat I expect from this series. just wish it had been a bit longer. can't wait for the next in the series.
