I'm enjoying the world in this series but I have to say that I thought Fane paled in comparison to Bas. Not that they were in competition for Serra (who I really liked) but just as a character. We got evil villain POV in the first book but it wasn't long into Bas's POV that I realized he was antagonist, not a villain. I'm really looking forward to his book. ...more
