Shelves: romance, contemporary
Very intriguing series.

What I enjoyed:
* Josie she is soft but strong and very loyal
* The brothers - I'm looking forward to getting to know them all better. They've survived hell and have more to get through before hopefully getting a happy ending.
* The plot. I definitely want to learn more and hopefully see the bad guys go down hard.

This is another great series to follow. I was not blown away by this book but I enjoyed it none the less.

I loved the idea of genetically engineered soldiers, very similar to Christine Feehan's Ghostwalkers.

The things that bugged me in the story where :
1) Josie putting her job before her safety which led to Shane having to rescue her three times.

2) Throughout the entire story(or what felt like it), her issues with abandonment kept coming up via her history in foster care. Wanting to have a fami

The first book in series about genetically engineered brothers. Shane's enhanced senses do come in to play quite a bit, reminding me a bit of that TV show The Sentinel, but I would say this is more romantic suspense with a side of paranormal. There's nothing wrong with that though, I really enjoyed reading this book. Shane's amnesia and Josie's lack of knowledge about his past keeps the reader guessing too and it was interesting to try and piece together the bits and pieces as Shane's memories b ...more
