There was so much going on in Vision in Silver! Monty and his daughter, discovering the dangers that the cassandra sangue present to themselves, the ongoing conflict with the humans who seem to be getting a lot bolder. Although Meg is still the main character, it felt to me that she wasn’t as pivotal as in the first couple of books.

At this point in the series, I would read anything Bishop decided to write, but even so I felt like this was a tad bit filler. This series does not disappoint. I am still absolutely in love with the characters and the world building.

Absolutely my favorite series right now. The tension between the terre indigene and the humans continues to grow, and there are big revelations in this one. I was glad to see Monty's family situation get some plot time and still get a kick out of the slow burn romance. This one had some big laughs, which helped to balance this entry a little more than the much darker Murder of Crows. I'm really looking forward to the next installment to see what kind of war is brewing.

I enjoyed the story, but I wish there had been more Meg and Simon interactions. I do not mean kissing or anything else physical. I just love when they interact together. The assumptions, thoughts and feelings they have are great! That is the only thing I feel this book was missing. You learn a lot about the Others and humans in this book. I am excited for the next installment.
