Pretty darn good! Rylee is interesting. Her ability is interesting too. I liked how O'Shea came around eventually. I loved Alex. The take on werewolves is an interesting one. An issue: it's brought up that Rylee is an Immune and yet at 2 different times a spell effects her negatively (for the plot!). One more issue: it ends abruptly. Not a cliffhanger exactly, but it read like the opening paragraph for the next book. It worked and I will be definitely reading book 2 in the near future.

Got this as a free read on my kindle. As much as I prefer a real book sometimes the backlight is a good thing. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised. Got into the book and characters right away and didn't want to put it down. Could see where it was headed but that wasn't a bad thing. It is a series. Loved the ending with the add on to her family and I love Alex the werewolf. Rest of the series is Definately on my to read list. Pleased to see the author is Canadian as well. Good read.

4.5 stars just because it was a little short and a little slow in the beginning. Otherwise it was fantastic. Kiss ass heroine mixed with enemies to lovers, how could it not be awesome! Great plot and characters. I'm looking forward to the next.

There are several editing issues with this book. I genuinely enjoyed the story and will continue with the series.
