I've been supremely intrigued by Janie, what would happen with her and her dreamworld boys since meeting her in book one (Fated). Additionally, we've got upcoming peace talks. Can there be peace among the races?

I'm so glad Marked is not the finale it was intended to be. That said, had it been, it was well done in that regard. So many feels. I'm looking forward to returning to Realm Protectors as well as getting into the other books ...more

4.5 stars. Great ending to the Dark Protectors series. I didn't know how Janie was going to save the world, but it was an emotional, scary story. I'm so glad that Janie and Zane finally met in real life. Lots of surprises and tears but I enjoyed it. I appreciate the refresher about characters as they appear in the book, so even if you read this series over years, as I did, you are reminded about their stories and abilities.

This is the 7th and final book in the Dark Protector series and if I'm honest, this is the one I have been looking forward to most.

I have been eagerly anticipating Janie's book since the beginning, the little dream triangle she had going on with both boys throughout the series and through the time jumps had me so curious. Great ending to the series! It is nice to finally get Janie and Zane's story.

I enjoyed this book as it had one of my favorite themes - met as children and remained close.

I just felt that the build up of Janie was more than what we got. Most of the heroines in this series are portrayed as exceptional women yet we never get to see this. The bad guys keep kicking ass and the good guys are left running for the hills and having to rebuild all the time. I was just hoping that for once the good guys would win.

Overall a good book.

Let me start by saying, this was an amazing conclusion! I so want to give it five stars, but I had to pull one because there were too many crazy swerves in the story. I have to say, I was not disappointed in meeting and getting to know Zane. For the past six books, I've been dying to know more about him and I really like how well Ms. Zanetti laid his story out. Janie has come a long way as well. I'm glad the skipped forward to give me time to adjust to Janie as an adult. I can't wait to catch up ...more
