i have had this one for ages. but i had never got around to reading it.... now i completely regret waiting so long to read it...isn't that always the way!
Sheriff Ava Dushaine is trying to stop the murders in her town of crossroads. the finger is pointed on the local werewolf alpha, Julian Kasey. who just happens to be Ava’s ex-lover.(possible one night stand i think). but she still finds herself attracted to him.
Anyway Ava tries to get things sorted before a war is started between the Vampires ...more

Too bad this one wasn't a full-length novel. Despite it's length, I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Some authors have difficulty with shorts - they often lack a beginning, middle and end. That was not the case here. The author did a good job of introducing the characters and setting the scene for the story. I look forward to reading more by Cynthia Eden. ...more

I loved this FREE read from Cynthia.

Her werewolves are always delicious, slightly dark and animalistic - there is always that feeling of controlled agression with them that I absolutely love. I would love to read more in this world, I'm curious about the vamps... ...more
