There's something about Charles and Anna's story that is truly unique. I think it's Charles's Salish heritage, possibly combined with Anna's Omega status, that gives these stories a spirituality and gravitas that makes me take notice of every word. Anna and Charles may be an established couple but their love burns intensely so that even their brief fade-to-black sex scenes are more sensual than a dozen pages of erotica. I find their quiet natures and ferocious loyalty very appealing.

This is a great series for those who enjoy the Anita Blake series or Sookie Stackhouse books. t's a fun look at what the modern world would look like in the creepy corners where horror, myth, and, magic are real. Fun fast-paced werewolf adventure, I'm a fan. ...more
