Really 3.5 stars.
This book is probably as good as most of the series but I just found it easier to put down than the others. It's the 2nd last book of the series and that maybe a good thing in the long term. Though I will miss some of the previous characters and their quirks.

Quick-look at the Book
Zoltan Czakvar's a vampire on the hunt for his father's murderer. Neona's part of a secret sisterhood who live in a remote part of Tibet and...raise dragons!! Once evil learns their location, it's up to the good vamps and Neona's tribe to keep the dragons safe.
Thoughts on the Series
These are formulaic books for sure. But the humor and the romance make them great for light reading. I pick one up every so often and have an entertaining time.

This wasn't my favourite in the series, nowhere close to be honest. Which is a shame, there was new additions to the mythology and new characters and supe types joining the fight against Master Han which kept me reading, I just found it too easy to put down and not enticing enough to be in a hurry to pick it back up. It's set up nicely for the next one though and I will continue cause overall they are great books and Kerrelyn is a great writer.
