We are on the tenth book of the Chicagoland Vampire Series and we still have three more to go. And I still have no idea where Chloe Neill is going with these books. BLOOD GAMES was definitely better than the previous book with a couple of twists.

Ethan has decided to challenge Darius and become the head of the GP in the previous book and in BLOOD GAMES thing don't really go according to plan. We have multiple vampires challenging Darius for GP head so it has turned into a challenge, or as you cou

I can't believe this is the 10th book and I'm all caught up! This series has had its up and downs but the last couple books have been really great and I'm actually excited for the next book which hasn't happened with this series in a while.

Things I especially loved:
1. Mallory is back! I did not like her after her dark days and I'm glad her and Merit are moving towards what they had in the first couple books. She pretty much rocked with her sleuthing skills and I can see her as a future Ombuddy.

The book started a bit slow and never completely picked up. Lots of waiting around. They are waiting for Darius's response, then they are waiting for information. The end did surprise me and I'm curious to see what that will lead to.

Ethan has challenged Darius to lead the Vampire Council and now they are awaiting his response. At the same time, someone is killing humans with supernatural items left at the scene. Merit is busy with both things and Ethan is keeping a secret from her.
