What Members Thought
Needless to say, this was an interesting book. I learned about the life of a bagel man, how standardized tests can fail, that the Ku Klux Klan was destabilized by a Superman comic book, the finances and organizational structure of a gang that sells crack, how abortion is supposedly the cause of recent lower crime rates, and whether a trendy or smart name can really help your child succeed in life (answer: no).
Definitely a page-turner, though I think I expected more due to the buzz around this bo ...more
