Wow, quite a ride. I shouldn't have expected the ending to provide much in the way of closure. It helps to re-read the first chapter after you finish, there are some quick, nearly throwaway lines in there that explain some of what happened between YDAU and YG. Still scratching my head a bit, but there are some good explanations online, especially Aaron Swartz's.
