I had to let this simmer at a mental back burner for awhile.
It's a book for people who love the english language. Not just in raw vocabulary, though that helps (my vocabulary inventory is pretty ridiculous to begin with, I always buried the needle in tests about reading in context, I've soaked up enough etymology to be able to make guesses at compound latin-ancestored technical words usually better than random chance...and I still had to keep looking things up; people who aren't friendly with di ...more

Brilliance does not necessarily make for page-turning reading. Stalled out at around pg 288 or so. Will take another hack at it maybe in 2013.
