Being a huge fan of Rachel Caine, I was really surprised(and dissapointed)at seeing Working Stiff having such low ratings. I shamefully admit that was the reason I avoided reading WS sooner. I didn't want to face the fact that Caine might actually have written something other than fantastic. Fortunately, I didn't have to, because Working Stiff was awesome!

This is both my first book by Rachel Cain and the first book that features zombies as paranormal element. I'm not really a big fan of of the brain eating zombie idea - yet. As you can imagine, i was a bit reluctant to start this series despite all the stellar reviews it got.
It's only a sign of Rachel Cain's stellar writing abilities that i loved that book as much as I did in the end.

Caine really doesn't disappoint in the variety of the series she writes. She astounds me with her creative imagination. Just Brilliant!
